RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The minimun contract will be for one day, contracts of one day rent run from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., if the rent is longer than one day the rent runs from 10 a.m. of the first rental day until 8 p.m. of the last rental day. In the case of an overdue rent the additional rent per hour as off 8p.m. is 5€.
- The price of rent will depend on the type and model of the motorbike, also deposit per motorbike is to be made, deposit for the motorbike must be by credit card (American Express, MasterCard, VISA) rental costs and deposit are to be paid no later than at the handing over of the motorbike.
- The motorbike is handed over with a full tank of petrol, clean, in faultless condition and without any visible outer defects. The renter is obliged to return the motorbike in the same condition, at the agreed place and time with all vehicle documents, tools, accessories, and a full tank of petrol. Should any tools or vehicle documents be missing, each item is to be compensated by 150€ and with 20€ in the event of non full tank. The renter commits him/herself to treat the motorbike appropriately and with care.
- The renter is in particular forbidden to:
- Allow anyone, other than those mentioned on the first page, to drive the motorbike.
- To allow those mentioned on the first page to drive the motorbike if they are banned from driving, or if this person does not possess a valid drivers licence, or is incapable of driving.
- Use the motorbike when it is defective.
- Use the motorbike for commercial purposes.
- Take part in any kind of motorbike events, including the test drives that appertain to the events.
- The towing of trailers, vehicles or other objects.
- Use the bike off paved roads or on beaches.
- Have any repairs done, parts replaced or extracted without the written consent from the rental company. All technical defects are to be reported to ALQUIMOTO 2005 S.L. company immediately.
- Condition for the rent of a motorbike for European citizen with for motorbikes less than 125 cc is a minimum age of 23 and a car drivers licence with two years of experience or more. And for the rest the licence must have a motorcycle endorsement. And for non European citizen the renter must have a motorbike drivers licence, riders must be 23 years of age or over and have at least one years' riding experience, if your licence does not have a motorcycle endorsement an international driving permit will be required.
- Should the motorbike be involved in an accident, or the motorbike itself, or parts of the motorbike be stolen, the renter must immediately notify ALQUIMOTO 2005 S.L. verbally. The written accident report to the rental company must include the following information: date, time and location of the accident; drivers licence information; address and insurance number of the other party involved in the accident, as well as the vehicle registration numbers involved in the accident; detailed accident report (sketch, name and addresses of possible witnesses); extent of the damage (injury, death damage to property); the location of the motorbike at the present time.
- In the case of an accident of which the driver is guilty of, the driver has no right to claim replacement of the vehicle. Also the driver has no right to claim any compensation concerning the remuneration of rental payments. In the case of an accident of which the driver is not guilty of, the driver may claim the replacement of the vehicle for the rest of the rental period. All other remuneration claims of the driver may not be taken into consideration. Also the renter will be the only responsible in case of the motorbike be missing.
- For your personal safety helmets can be rented with the motorbike, in case of this item be missing must to be compensated by 100€.
- Fineries or traffic infractions have to be paid by the renter. In the case of a fine or an infraction the renter is obliged to announce these to the rental company.
- Finally ALQUIMOTO 2005 S.L. Motorcycle Rentals does not assume responsibility for bodily injury, nor for any damage or loss to personal effects.
